Special Collections and University Archives
Instruction

instruction in reading room

Providing instruction services to Colgate students and faculty represents a major focus of the department's activities each year. Special Collections and University Archives provides instruction and orientation in a range of disciplines and subjects, including general information about how to locate, interpret, and use primary source materials in all formats. Our staff works with instructors to tailor instruction sessions and class assignments to complement the course.

Sessions may be scheduled for regular class meeting times or as an additional class.

Faculty or staff wishing to schedule course-related instruction should contact Sarah Keen, Head of Special Collections and University Archivist.
