Finding Where a Periodical Is Indexed
Most periodicals do not contain indexes to their contents, though each issue may have a table of contents. To determine which databases or printed indexes cover a particular periodical title consult the resources below. It may also be useful to request assistance from a Reference Librarian since the large number of databases and indexes, the dates of coverage, and periodical title changes can make this process quite difficult.
Online Resources- Journal Finder
- Use Journal Finder to locate which databases contain the full text and then search those databases.
- In most cases the information found here will allow you to determine if your periodical is indexed in these databases even though Colgate provides the database from another source.
- Print Resources
These sources are all kept in Reference at Case Library.
