A History of Colgate University 1819-1969 - Howard D. Williams wrote this book on Colgate's history to mark the sesquicentennial anniversary of the school's founding.

Records of the First Baptist Church of Hamilton, NY
First Baptist Church of Hamilton, founded in 1796, is the "mother church of Colgate University." The 13 founders were members of this church when they decided to form a Baptist seminary in Hamilton. This collection contains text and images of important documents in the church's history.
Modern Sketch
This rare Chinese periodical, Modern Sketch (Shi Dai Man Hua) for 1934 to 1937 contains caricatures, cartoons, and humorous writing that defined the golden era of Shanghai’s comic art during the mid-1930’s. In a related digital collaboration, John A. Crespi, Colgate's Luce Associate Professor of Chinese, provides scholarly analysis combined with full-color, high-resolution images from Modern Sketch at MIT’s Visualizing Cultures:

Andrew J. Russell Photographs
Our first collection, the Andrew J. Russell Photographs, consists of 58 photographs taken by Andrew J. Russell during the American Civil War.
