Academic Library Newsletters in the United States
Updated February 23, 2009
Print newsletters are a longstanding advocacy instrument
for academic libraries. The electronic versions listed here carry over much of
the structure and intent of the print version. However, publishing for a global
audience has influenced not only newsletter appearance but also content
quality.
This electronic directory relies on institutions listed in the American Universities database published by the University of Florida. It does not include institutions that do not award the baccalaureate degree, newsletters from graduate programs in library science, or occasional publications from professional organizations and societies that are associated with academic libraries. The term newsletter is used liberally to include What's New features on library web pages.
